To build a hotel in Oplenac King Peter I made arrangements in 1915, and his intended role of the Foundation House to accommodate guests and visitors to the Foundation.
The Hotel starts to be build in 1933 by architect Dragomir Tadic, and was completed in 1934. It was open on Trojice (Spirits) without any ceremony highlighted. The hotel is harmoniously integrated into the landscape. Urbanism is shaped like a casle from the Byzantine style features Sumadija – Morava house.
Today the hotel Oplenac has 120 beds in double, triple rooms and apartments are arranged in two blocks. The restaurant has a comfortable dining hall for 200 persons, and for the most part is located on the terrace covered with the glass, where the view extends to Oplenac park. This restaurant features a pleasant atmosphere with the interior of national style, and it services national cuisine.
Under the shade of century- old linden is a summer garden with 400 seats, witch along with superior service, local specialties and live music offers guests refreshment and relaxation during the hot summer days. Nearby is national restaurant of the hotel which divides the summer garden. It’s capacity is 70 seats.
Fully equipped seminar hall (wi fi, video screen, projector, laptop, wireless microphones, loudspeakers, mobile booths, etc.) with 120 seats.
Below the hotel is located a sports courts for basketball, volleyball and football.
